Every Writer Is A Thief
I have myself always been terrified of plagiarism—of being accused of it, that is. Every writer is a thief, though some of us are more clever than others at disguising our robberies. The reason writers are such slow readers is that we are ceaselessly searching for things we can steal and then pass off as our own: a natty bit of syntax, a seamless transition, a metaphor that jumps to its target like an arrow shot from an aluminum crossbow.
-JOSEPH EPSTEIN
Although I wouldn’t strictly call it thievery so much as keeping an eye out for inspiration. I should really get around to writing something already. I’ve been on hiatus for too long. Plus I ought to remember to have my journal about my person at all times.

Mini Blueberry Pancakes with Mango Stars and Strawberry Hearts
Drool. I miss staying in and making blueberry pancakes, particularly on rainy days. This also reminds me of nummy waffles at Red Mango. Omnomnom.
Oh, wait. It’s consensual. Nevermind. So tada. I have myself a Tumblr. I never thought I’d get one, but hey, I’ve got a Facebook and Twitter so what’s one more time-sink of a site, eh? Well, I was bored (isn’t that how it always starts?) and feeling a little gloomy, so I decided to make one. Now then. Fun will now commence.
